Our nieces

Today we ran a mararthon. Not really, but we did take down the Christmas Tree, did a ton of laundry, did the budget, got money out for our envelopes, and went to the grocery store. We are exhausted. Right now I'm on the computer and Adam is watching the caucuses. Here's some pics of our Christmas decor this year. We hosted a few Christmas parties. Will post this pics later :)

Adam's Mom gave us a  Coca-Cola train so we put it around the gifts and tree!
Had to post just a few pics of Ava and Marla. BTW, I skipped yesterday, but we were traveling back home. Resolutions are made to be broken but you keep going :)

Hooray for Chacos.

I'm buying Chacos. And I'm excited. There was a time in my life when I thought people who wore these were weird hippies or something. But then I'd be the one rafting with soggy tennis shoes that I couldn't wear ever again running with decent support. Then came Josh Hinton and Margaret Sanders and now...I am going to buy my very own. Haha. The older I get, the more I want to be outdoors doing stuff. I've always known I'm not a "corporate world super office type"...although I've held two of those jobs, and held my own might I say! But, I am growing more to love hiking and nature and water and well, all the things God made that we haven't ruined yet. So...Chacos here I come!

I think I offend people

Truth: I think I offend people. Some people just get on my nerves. While I realize this is not a "godly woman" kind of comment...sometimes that is how I react to people. I get annoyed when people speak condescendingly to me. I get annoyed when others question my word. I get annoyed when people lie. I get annoyed when people try to tell what they are learning from the Lord to others as though that is what THEY should be learning at that exact same season of life. These things...ugh. I get annoyed when people who have kids talk to people who don't have kids like they are stupid or ignorant. Same goes with married people and single people. I cannot be the only person that struggles with this. And I try really hard to filter what I say...so usually I'm only thinking that I'm annoyed but occasionally it pops right out of my mouth before I have time to catch it.
