I said I'd never..

RUN ANOTHER 1/2 MARATHON! But I'm going to do it with Margaret Sanders on October 31, 2009!!
Woop there it is people. We are starting to train on Sunday, first 3 mile run is on Monday. Please pray that my legs hold up!
Adam and I have this joke about how I always say I'm "never going to do ___" and then I end up doing it. So, I said after I ran my last 1/2 in Va Beach that I'd never do it again. And fate takes its course and here I go!

YAY GINNY!! I am running a 1/2 marathon in December. It will be my first. I am super nervous about it. training already so that i will be good and ready come december...how are wedding plans coming? when is the big day again?

You'll do great I'm sure! Wedding plans are coming along nicely, still alot to do but it's all fun. We're getting married Nov 21 :)

Fish on Land

I was telling my friend Kristi the other day that we sordof feel like Fish on Land. Out of place, awkward, and not sure what we are supposed to do to survive. Our lives have been a whirlwind since...well...awhile. We left the church Adam was on staff with Easter Sunday. Since then, we have been praying and asking God what and where we are supposed to do next. Move to Charlotte, move to Wilmington, move to somewhere a church hires us. Do we look for church positions or look for secular jobs...do we look for student ministry jobs or another type of ministry? Do we sell or rent our house? What are we supposed to do? The answer to these questions are not yet decided. We have had some contacts for jobs but nothing has come through yet. We think we might want to move to Wilmington if we can find something. I think I offend people

Truth: I think I offend people. Some people just get on my nerves. While I realize this is not a "godly woman" kind of comment...sometimes that is how I react to people. I get annoyed when people speak condescendingly to me. I get annoyed when others question my word. I get annoyed when people lie. I get annoyed when people try to tell what they are learning from the Lord to others as though that is what THEY should be learning at that exact same season of life. These things...ugh. I get annoyed when people who have kids talk to people who don't have kids like they are stupid or ignorant. Same goes with married people and single people. I cannot be the only person that struggles with this. And I try really hard to filter what I say...so usually I'm only thinking that I'm annoyed but occasionally it pops right out of my mouth before I have time to catch it.
