Inside out Day 5 and 6 :)

Yesterday was Thursday and I went for a nice HOT walk/jog around the neighborhood at the place I'm staying in Augusta. I stay with Adam's friends Will and Leigh and they are super great hosts! Their pets Alf and Sky always greet me with a smile and wet kiss when I come in. Yesterday I read Luke 11 and today Luke 12. Luke is an interesting book to me because it jumps around so much from topic to topic. Jesus is talking about Beezelbub and then being light and then about not storing up treasures here...so I felt normal ADD when I was reading it. I'll have to get in some sort of a work out or walk later this afternoon, It was way too hot this morning and without the gym, I just couldn't make myself have a heat stroke.
Did a little cleaning this morning at Adam's...I'm excited thinking about when we get to combine all our masses of junk and then I'm going to organize it all. Haha, who gets excited about that? Not sure what's on the agenda today...think I'll work on our wedding site and browse more around Crate and Barrel's website and look for jobs. A normal day. :)

Fish on Land

I was telling my friend Kristi the other day that we sordof feel like Fish on Land. Out of place, awkward, and not sure what we are supposed to do to survive. Our lives have been a whirlwind since...well...awhile. We left the church Adam was on staff with Easter Sunday. Since then, we have been praying and asking God what and where we are supposed to do next. Move to Charlotte, move to Wilmington, move to somewhere a church hires us. Do we look for church positions or look for secular jobs...do we look for student ministry jobs or another type of ministry? Do we sell or rent our house? What are we supposed to do? The answer to these questions are not yet decided. We have had some contacts for jobs but nothing has come through yet. We think we might want to move to Wilmington if we can find something. We pray every night asking God that we stay in His will. Knowing all along that what His will might be is that we just trust in Him and be patient. Trusting that He will provide. That H

I think I offend people

Truth: I think I offend people. Some people just get on my nerves. While I realize this is not a "godly woman" kind of comment...sometimes that is how I react to people. I get annoyed when people speak condescendingly to me. I get annoyed when others question my word. I get annoyed when people lie. I get annoyed when people try to tell what they are learning from the Lord to others as though that is what THEY should be learning at that exact same season of life. These things...ugh. I get annoyed when people who have kids talk to people who don't have kids like they are stupid or ignorant. Same goes with married people and single people. I cannot be the only person that struggles with this. And I try really hard to filter what I say...so usually I'm only thinking that I'm annoyed but occasionally it pops right out of my mouth before I have time to catch it.
