Alaska. The Last Frontier Part 3.

I drove down to Soldotna to go pick up the girls that were teaching at a high school there. These are some of the pics I took along the way.




The water coming off the mountains in the lakes, is crystal clear. Like what you see in the Caribbean.
Beautiful beach.
Me, and yeah, the water was a little chilly!
This shot is off the inlet, that goes out to the Gulf of Alaska, that leads to the Pacific. It was near the town of Soldotna. The mountains in the background are still volcanic and are a part of the ring of fire.
I heart Alaska.
This shot is coming down the highway on the Kenai Peninsula on our way back from Soldotna. It was breathtaking.
On our way to the airport, we got stuck in a little traffic and this was our view on the side of the road. Have to have one of these pictures in every state I visit...

YES i love love love the pics!! i have some faves..the one with you holding the fishing license and you are wearing golashes (spelling?) . the one after you ate moose? and ALL the amazing scenery ones!! simply amazing:-)
