If you're wondering where other items might be, this week I don't have to buy things like detergent, toilet paper, certain toiletries, or fruit because I have already stocked up on weeks they were on sale.
We also go to the produce stand down the street for fresh vegetables and fruits when we need them. You really cannot beat the prices of a produce stand.

Most of the coupons we use are from the Sunday paper. There are links to printables. For a full tutorial, visit Southern Savers and watch her videos.

As you can see, this week we will spend right around 50 dollars depending on the price of the vitamins that we buy. I could probably do better if I weren't buying the Dove Shampoo and Conditioner, but I really like it and is a decent deal. How much do you spend on groceries and how do you budget for it?

And the bigger question is, what could you do with a little extra money not spent on food each month. We are trying to become debt free so we can use our finances to have a global purpose for our God. You could sponsor a child for just a mere $45 dollars a month through Compassion International and provide them with food, clothing, and school. There are many other things you can do with some freed up money. Why not try it?!
