Happy 4th from Wilmington!

The original plan: to go to the Beach Saturday, working on Sunday would end with fireworks downtown on the riverfront, and Monday we would spend the day in Southport experiencing all the fun festivities I have tried to make happen a million times and never succeeded. What actually happened was: Saturday we walked around downtown, Sunday I worked and we did do fireworks at the riverfront, Monday...Adam had a drug test for a job and then we spent a few hours meeting with some friends in the afternoon. Someday I will make it to Southport. That seems to be a theme of my life. Will I ever get to Southport?
Anyway, here are a few photos from our night Sunday.

Back in North Carolina

Our lives have been moving crazy fast and crazy busy the last few weeks. I haven't had a chance to blog, email or even tell half the people I normally would about our life changes. Adam and I have packed up the house in Augusta, GA and moved to Wilmington, NC. Wednesday was packing day, Thursday was loading up day and driving day, and yesterday was unloading day into our storage unit that is conveniently located in Leland, NC. We will be renting a townhome in Leland...sordof on the way to Oak Island in about 2 weeks. I have started work at a very fun upscale consignment boutique for kids! It's called Baby Bugs! We need ideas!

I don't usually ask for comments on here, as I'm not sure even how many readers I have. Here's the thing: Adam and I talked about the possibility of having a joint blog...you know... joint bank accounts, joint kitchen table, joint blog...so it goes. :) Since we don't have cute kids yet to update on frequently we are brainstorming on what to name this masterpiece of eloquent writing. Lol. Anyone have ideas??? I threw out McCullough Memories...didnt quite get the response I'd hoped for. :) Just kidding. Be creative!
